CDL-A Car Haul Truck Driver Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
  • Minimum 12 months of recent car hauling/auto transport experience using stinger equipment
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

What You’ll Do

As a United Road CDL-A Car Haul Truck Driver, you will:

  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using car haul equipment
  • Operate stinger car haul equipment safely and efficiently
  • Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Complete required documentation and electronic logs
  • Deliver vehicles safely and on time
  • Maintain DOT, FMCSA, and United Road safety standards
