CDL-A OTR Car Haul Driver Responsibilities
As a professional automotive transport driver, you'll play an important role in safely delivering vehicles throughout North America.
Responsibilities include:
- Transporting vehicles using a stinger car haul trailer
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Securing vehicles according to company procedures
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintaining electronic logs and required documentation
- Delivering vehicles safely and on time
- Following DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards
CDL-A OTR Car Haul Driver Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
- Minimum 12 months of recent stinger trailer car haul experience
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
